Illinois Paper Hits Michael Moore for Copyright Infringement

It appears that Michael Moore violated Federal law in the making of Fahrenheit 9/11.

The leftist filmmaker showed a headline, claimed to be from the Bloomington (IL) Panatagraph, showing that Gore won the election.

After seeing and hearting about the headline, the newspaper researched its archive and found that no headline or story existed in the paper. It did, however, find a small similar headline over a letter to the editor.

Hardly the blockbuster news story Moore claimed. The paper's lawyers are asking Moore to apologize and for punitive damages.
