Dems bid to keep Keyes off ballot fails

What are the Illinois Democrats afraid of?

In a bizarre move the Illinois Election Board made a move to keep Republican challenger Alan Keyes off the November ballot.

Citing made up rules, the 4 democrats on the Board signed off on a ballot without Keyes on it. The Republicans signed off on a ballot with Keyes on it.

After 4 hors of stupidity, the Board voted to keep Keyes name on the ballot - - for now.

The Senate race in Illinois is just getting crazy and is an embarrassment for BOTH parties.

Barack Obama says his campaign had nothing to do with the move by the Democrats on the Election Board. Bull. Obama's campaign controls what is happening in the campaign. There should be no doubt that someone in the Obama campaign suggested or orchestrated the bizarre move.

Still, what is Obama afraid of? In some polls he is ahead by 40 points which is a little ridiculous. He has backed away from debates. Currently NONE are scheduled or planned.

Can Keyes win? As long as the Democrats treat Obama's election as a coronation and block his opponent, then yes. It is Obama's election to lose and the democrats on the Election Board are helping.
