In his anti-war activist days, Sen. John Kerry described the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) as a "paramilitary, pro-war organization."
Today, the now presidential hopeful spoke to the VFW convention in Cincinnati. First reports have the senator receive polite applause while many veterans sat with their arms folded.
