Colin Powell is becoming a problem for the Bush Administration.
After inviting UN observers to monitor the November election, Powell has announced that he will not be attending the GOP Convention in New York later this month.
Citing some lame excuse about the secretary not being involved in "parochial politics," the former General is beginning to show his true colors.
In the past, Powell has disagreed with various Administration policies, but still seemed to be part of the team. With this announcement, the Secretary is deciding to sit on the sidelines.
As noted in an earlier posting, there should be no second term for Powell and maybe he should resign before the election.
