Kobe Bryant Criminal Case Will Go to Trial

The Kobe Bryant case will go to trial. Despite "criminal" mistakes by the judge and his staff, the filing of a Federal civil suit, and more blunders by the defense and prosecution, the trial will move forward as scheduled.

While I am almost certain that the result of a trial would be acquittal, there is always the chance of a plea agreement that would give Bryant some jail time and a requirement to admit he is a rapist.

Whether there is a conviction or agreement, it is almost certain that Bryant will have to register as a sex offender in EVERY state that he travels to with the Lakers.
