What I Really Said About Iraq

This week the liberal media and the Kerry campaign have seized on some remarks made by Paul Bremer.

As is typical of the media and the Kerry campaign these remarks were taken out of context and reported as favorable to Kerry. Unfortunately for the media and Kerry, the remarks were only partially true.

While Bremer may believe that there was a need for more troops in Iraq, he continues to back the Bush Administration's policies in Iraq. Didn't Kerry say there should be fewer US troops in Iraq? Is this another "change" of position?

To set the record straight Paul Bremer wrote and op-ed piece in the New York Time. I'm surprised they printed it.
