Tidbits - 10/14/04

Here are some interesting items.

+While John Kerry's mentioning of the Vice President's daughter was "tawdry" and inappropriate, a candidate for Congress from Tennessee is distributing a flyer that equates voting for the President as being part of the Special Olympics.

In short the Flyer says that voting for President Bush is like being in the Special Olympics, "Even if you win you are still retarded."

The Special Olympics has condemned the flyer and the candidate.

+The Rev. Jesse Jackson is at it again. The discredited leader of the Rainbow/Push Coalition and father of an illegitimate child is saying the President Bush is pushing the "ideology of the Confederacy."

All this type of hateful rhetoric does nothing to foster racial tolerance. In fact, Jackson is simply being racist in his comments. Does he think that the southern states will rush to Kerry because of this comment? Rev. Jackson you live in a dreamworld.

+The following story may only be of interest to fans or enemies of Bill O'Reilly.

O'Reilly has filed a civil suit against a former producer and her attorneys claiming that they tried to "extort" $60 million dollars from the Fox New star.

The producer has now filed a sexual harassment suit against O'Reilly.

You read the facts, you decide.
