Tidbits - 10/8/04

How desperate are the Democrats and their supporters to win (or steal) this election. It seems that voter fraud is picking up across the country.

In Tallahassee Florida, prosecutors and election officials are looking at, at least, 25 voter registration applications with bogus address and other missing information. Some of the addressees used include a utility company and city park.

In one instance, election officials went to one address in which the occupants just moved in and said that the house had been vacant for many months before.

Prosecutors continue to look into the matter.

In Palm Beach County, election official, Theresa LaPore, vowed to close the election office at 5PM Monday, the last day for voter registration.

After the deadline a representative of Voting is Power, a Muslim get out the vote group, attempted to deliver over 500 voter registration forms. After being denied access, the representative made such a commotion that LaPore accepted the box after it was thrown at her.

After a quick inspection, LaPore noted that most of the forms were incomplete and dated in July and August. The forms are still being reviewed.

Is the Kerry campaign running out of money or just desperate.

Kerry advisor, James Carville, sent an email to Democratic supporters urging them to donate $5 million dollars by "midnight." The goal is the first of three "critical make or break" deadlines the campaign must meet to continue the fight.

The email further explained the campaign must "pull out all the stops or we will regret it for years."

In a way this is a little disingenuous, it has been obvious from the beginning of the campaign season that Carville is not interested in a Kerry will only a Bush defeat, but if Kerry wins, Carville will have to wait eight years to put another Clinton in the White House. I am certain he does not want to wait that long.
