Kerry: "Isaid she was a lesbian, before I didn't."

There has been some strong reaction to Senator Kerry's invoking the Vice President's daughter during last night's debate. There has already been outrage from clear thinking politicians on both sides.

Here's some additional statements to continue to stir the pot.

VICE PRESIDENT CHENEY ON KERRY & EDWARDS

From The Note:
CHENEY IN FT. MYERS, FL: 'You saw a man who will say and do anything in order to get elected. And I am not speaking just as a father here, though I am a pretty angry father, but as a citizen.'
There's your water cooler talk for the next few days. You just lost the heartland, Senator Kerry. You can thank Elizabeth Edwards for that.

OH, LIZZIE EDWARDS, LYNNE CHENEY'S GONNA OPEN A CAN OF WHOOP-TUSHIE ]

From The Note:
ELIZABETH EDWARDS ON ABC RADIO: 'She's [Lynne Cheney]overreacted to this and treated it as if it's shameful to have this discussion. I think that's a very sad state of affairs. I think that it indicates a certain degree of shame with respect to her daughter's sexual preferences. It makes me really sad that that's Lynne's response.'

To paraphrase ESPN's Stuart Scott: 'Oh, no she dint!' She 'dint' just charge that Lynne Cheney is ashamed of her daughter. Oh, heeeell no. Oh, it's on now, baby.

Elizabeth Edwards, you did not mess with Lynne Cheney's relationship with her daughter. The last guy to do that was Alan Keyes, and now the only place you see him is on the side of a milk carton.

This is going to outrage the right, and I don't see the middle being thrilled with this either."
