Terror-Fearing Sen. Shuts Office

Fear has always been a card played by Democrats to confuse voters. Democrats have played the fear card over Medicare, Social Security, taxes, energy, and now terrorism.

Sen. Mark Dayton (D-MN) says he is closing his Washington office to the possibility of terror in the Nations Capitol. Dayton says that a confidential intelligence report made him fear for his safety. Well, Senator, you are closing your office at a good time. The Senate is out of session and you are, allegedly, going home to Minnesota. Or are you taking a taxpayer or lobbyist junket during the recess.

Federal officials know of no new threat that would prompt Dayton to close his office.

Dayton continued to whine that Senate Majority Leader, Bill Frist (R-TN) would not convene a special meeting with senators to discuss this "threat."

The only threat Sen. Dayton is that you are playing the fear card and attempting to sway voters by your misplaced
