Debate Thoughts

The second Presidential Debate was much different than the first. Not just because of the format, but the style and substance.

In all categories the President was a clear winner. He was forceful, hammered Kerry's record and positions, and connected with the questioners, even the hostile questioners.

Bush also won on style and substance. He was more at ease in this debate and knew his policies and positions and contrasted them well against Kerry. There were only a copy of minor flubs. He called Kerry "Senator Kennedy" and said "Internets". Although there are multiple networks called the internet, most people are only familiar with one. Frankly, only the most partisans of partisans would even look at that. So, The next ad from Terry Mac Auliffe and the DNC will feature them.
