Tidbits - 9/3/04

The liberal media is relentless. CBS, especially, could not wait to bash President Bush's speech at the RNC last night. In one report, CBS noted that Bush had apparently forgotten Osama Bin Laden.

Also, in an interview with Laura Bush, Dan Rather asked if the prairie dogs on the Crawford Texas ranch were going to hide in the holes. WHAT?? Rather is becoming a caricature of himself and it is not a good one.

+It seems that any good news on the economy and jobs front is bad news for Kerry.

The labor report shows that 144,000 were created in August (6,000 under projections) and the unemployment rated dropped to 5.4%.

To hear the Kerry campaign tell it this is bad news for the economy.

+Protesters at the site of the World Trade Center now claim that the 9/11 attacks were a massive government conspiracy to grab power in the US.

Some people will say anything. Worse yet, some people will believer anything.

+Did the desperate rally by John Kerry at midnight make a difference. According to an unscientific AOL poll it did . . . in favor of George W. Bush.

Results from the poll show Bush leading in ALL 50 states and losing only in the District of Columbia.

AOL's poll only allows subscribers to vote once each month. The heaviest voting seemed to come between 1AM and 2AM Friday morning. Note this was after Kerry's pep rally in Ohio.
