BUSH WAY UP IN ARIZONA; HISPANICS DOWN ON KERRY 

The Bush campaign is happy about a new survey conducted by the Behavior Research Center in Phoenix, which shows Bush leads Kerry 48 percent to 36 percent, with 16 percent undecided.The poor showing for Kerry, D-Mass., in the new survey comes largely because he has lost support among Hispanics. Results from the July poll show Bush is now favored by about 47 percent of Hispanic voters, compared with Kerry’s 42 percent. 
 
GILLESPIE CHALLENGES KERRY ON WILSON 

A statement by Republican National Committee Chairman, Ed Gillespie, regarding Joe Wilson:
"For more than a year, Joe Wilson led Democrats to make allegations against the President that have now been proven false. Senator Kerry embraced and repeated these false charges and continues to post them on his campaign Web site.
"Perhaps he is as proud of his repudiated national steering committee member who has been exposed as a liar as he is of his vote against funding our troops in the field."

Busy day of campaigning ahead. President Bush is joined by his daughter Barbara and speaks at the National Training Conference on Human Trafficking in Tampa, Fla., then holds a rally at the Raleigh County Armory Civic Center, in Beckley, West Virginia.

Vice President Dick Cheney, joined by Sen. John McCain, has two rallies on his schedule: One in Lansing, Mich. and another at Waterloo, Iowa.

Sen. Kerry addresses the 2004 America Federation of Teachers Convention in Washington and attends a Kerry/Edwards Victory 2004 Reception in Arlington, Va..
