Schools Involved in Recruiter Lawsuit - A Check This Out Extra!

There are 31 college and universities participating in the lawsuit to be heard by the US Supreme Court on whether the federal government can withhold taxpayer funds from those schools that refuse to allow military recruiters on campus.

A question that arises is how many of these schools have an active ROTC program. In this reporter's opinion, schools that offer ROTC cannot arbitrarily deny the military the opportunity to recruit on-campus.

Of the 31 schools involved in the lawsuit, 18 have made their names public. They are:

George Washington University Law School
Capital University Law School
Golden Gate university School of Law
Chicago-Kent School of Law
New York Law School
New York University School of Law
Fordham University School of Law
Georgetown University Law Center
Northeastern University School of Law
Hofstra University School of Law
Vermont Law School
University of Minnesota Law School
Pace University School of Law
Roger Williams University School of Law
University of San Francisco School of Law
Stanford Law School
Washington University School of Law, and
Whittier College of Law.

Although it is the law schools that are actively participating, they would not do so without the approval of the college or university. Schools in bold have active ROTC programs.
